The Utah non-resident permit
is THE permit in America to get.
Why? |
| 1.
Because with
it, you can carry concealed in many additional states - on top of those states that already recognize your Nevada CCW permit.
|
| 2. A non-resident
UT permit is inexpensive - only $65.00 for a 5-year permit. |
| 3. You don't have
to live-fire qualify. We still think it's a good idea, though. |
| 4. You don't have
to travel to Utah. Train here in NV, mail off your fingerprint cards and application, then receive your UT permit by mail.
Beautiful. |
| 5. Note: As of
May 2011, if you reside in a state that recognizes the validity of the
Utah CFP or has reciprocity with Utah, you must obtain a CFP or CCW from
your home state and submit a copy of it with your application for
a Utah permit. For a list of
reciprocal states, click
here.
Residency will be determined by your
state issued identification.
If your state does not recognize the
Utah permit, this does not apply. |
