Do you use
the Public Ranges for
your firearms training? |
|
No, we do
not use public ranges. We use a privately owned range because it
allows us to control the line of shooters at our pace, with our
training exercises, to better serve you.
|
|
The Washoe County range
can be a nice place for casual, recreational shooting, but for
our [civilian] training needs, it is simply too restrictive,
-
The range is open only (4) days a week.
We operate 7 days a week
-
The range has very short operating hours.
It closes at 3:30 pm!
-
Unless you are a POLICE OFFICER, you cannot
draw & shoot from your own holster or CCW device. This
is because no
police officer has ever shot himself while practicing
a draw from a holster. Not ever. (Right)
-
No rapid fire is allowed. Slow shooting only.
(Huh?)
-
Extra $30.00 fee imposed on instructors to
use the side range.
-
A minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance
policy is required as an instructor to use the side range.
