| There is no limit to the
numbers of guns you may have listed on your permit. Any caliber, any
style is acceptable. For revolvers, if you qualify once with a
revolver of any make, model, or caliber you may now carry any revolver
you choose. (NV statute
revised in 2007) For semi-autos, you must qualify with each
differing make and model you wish to have listed on your permit.
Example: Even though a Kimber 1911 and a Colt 1911 are
nearly identical, you must still qualify with each one, as they are of
differing manufacturers. Yes, we know this is a
silly law,
and it needs to be changed. Until then, we follow the law. Please don't
ask us to bend or break the rules.
If you wish to add
additional guns to your CCW permit, you must first pass a
live-fire qualification test in the presence of an approved CCW
instructor. |
