What's involved with
getting my 6-month re-qual?
|
1. Call us at 775.842.6409 at least a week in advance of when you
want your firearms re-qualification service. We'll schedule a day
and
time, and will email a map and directions to the range to you. |
2. Arrive at the scheduled day and time with
your handgun(s), ammo,
ear & eye protection, and your current white
card (if applicable).
Important Note: You must bring the
Verification of Employment Form
with you, completely filled out and signed by you and your
employer. You cannot be issued a new white card until this
document is presented to the instructor.

3. Perform your live fire qualification
test. Using a
B-27 target, the
basic course of fire is:
- 10 rounds fired in 30 seconds from 15
yards.
- 10 rounds fired in 30 seconds from 7
yards.
- 10 rounds fired in 30 seconds from 3
yards.
The instructor will add more training
exercises and drills, per his discretion and your company requirements.
An optional pre-qualification warm-up drill is
available.
Bring 50 rounds of extra ammo for this. |

4. Pay $35.00 ($25.00 for the instructor and
$10.00 for the range materials fee.) Upon successful completion of the course, a new white card will be issued to you at the range. You are now set for another
6 months! |
